Our Mission
A space created by fans, for fans! What started as a small group of K-pop lovers has grown into Charleston’s first-ever K-pop store and a community space where fans can connect, create, and celebrate together.
We bring official albums, merch, and collectibles to our city so fans don’t have to wait months or pay crazy shipping fees. We also offer fan-made merch too!
Our mission? To unite the local K-pop community and make every fan feel at home. No matter if you’re a multi-stan, casual listener, or brand-new fan, you belong here.
Welcome to the co-op — we're so happy to have you <3

Our Story
Kpop Co-op was created by three passionate community builders whose dedication to K-pop helped shape and strengthen Charleston’s fandom scene: Vannah, Ann, and Kellie.
In 2022, Vannah founded BTS Charleston, the city’s very first organized K-pop fan group. Their debut event in 2023 brought local fans together in a way Charleston had never experienced before, opening the door for a larger, more connected K-pop presence in the region.
That same year, Ann launched SKZ Charleston, giving Stray Kids fans a home of their own and adding even more momentum to Charleston’s growing K-pop community.
As they continued hosting events and building spaces for fans to connect, Vannah and Ann realized they shared the same vision: creating inclusive, joyful experiences for all fandoms. Together they formed Southern Seoul Social Club, which soon introduced the annual K-pop Spring Fling, now one of the biggest K-pop events in the region, uniting stans from every group and every background.
Along the way, they met Kellie, an avid Stray Kids fan who had always been a strong supporter of local events and the broader community. Her dedication, enthusiasm, and love for the fandom made her the perfect addition to the team.
With all three joining forces, the next step became clear: Kpop Co-op—Charleston’s first K-pop–centered store.
A space created by fans, for fans, where the community can find official merch, attend events, and feel at home.
